Awards Programme 2010 - 11

Topics covered in this article:

The Principles into Practice Awards ceremony was held on 18 March 2011 at the Scottish Youth Theatre, Glasgow.

Submissions  for the awards were made under 5 categories and were then shortlisted by a small panel made up of a member of the PiP steering group, a subject specialist from the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland and the Network facilitator.

A shortlist of a maximum of four submissions from each category were passed onto the judging panel.

Being shortlisted for a Principles into Practice Award is recognition that services or support that is being provided is making an important contribution to advancing the agenda or rights based care in mental health. Shortlisted projects provided a resource for other services to learn from. Each project presented and discussed their challenges and achievements at event workshops on the 18th March.
